been engulfed in talks and topics of marriage, partnership and settle down.
naturally being practical, i knew the time has come and started looking around at some web portals...
over there, there are some who are sincere but u know that there's no connection in mind, style, appearance, character, background and experiences. one may cite the difference to nationality, language and culture.
then there are some who are too eager to please. just because i'm singaporean and not an inch like an indian conservative gal, they start talking abt their shallow encounters of their expereince with opposite sex. like who they had some wierd/unconventional relationships with, kind of woman they had bed expereince, trips with other gals and blah blah blah. this is what i call dog digging a hole thinking it would preserve what it has found but on contrary has fallen in its own hole.
but this moment is like studying in an unknown faculty that has unknown years of course duration, unknown future but with aims to graduate. marriage. if you think staying happily married is challenging, you have not experienced dating with preference. it sucks even more.
love is like the ocean. deeper you go the more you realise. you might even be suffocated to breath being a first timer. but if you're well prepared with the right gear, why fear. go for it. even for myself literally speaking diving in the ocean and not feeling the sea bed of sand is like pulling it down. the day i can feel it is the day he's the one right beside me.
